What’s New for Pro Tools LE Users

With Pro Tools 9.0, Pro Tools is now a single,

unified application. Pro Tools LE will no longer

be developed. Pro Tools 9.0 effectively replaces

all lower versions of Pro Tools LE software. The

following features and enhancements are new

to Pro Tools for former Pro Tools LE users.

I/O Setup Improvements

• Session and System settings

• Output and internal mix busses

• Ability to Import I/O Settings by page

• Overlapping Paths

• Improved session interchange

Advanced DigiBase Features

• Advanced search features

• DigiBase Catalogs

Editing Features

• Auto-Scrolling tracks in the Mix and Edit win-

dows

• Advanced Beat Detective features

• Separate multiple tracks

• Collection mode

These features have been available in lower

versions of Pro Tools for Pro Tools HD us-

ers. Subsets of these features have been

available in lower versions of Pro Tools in

various combinations for Pro Tools LE users

with Music Production Toolkit 2, DV Tool-

kit 2, or Complete Production Toolkit.
